See’s Candies® Teams Up Again with the ASPCA® to Raise Awareness for Animals in Need

For The Month of August, See’s Candies Will Celebrate “Dogust” to Honor Furry Friends

San Francisco, Calif. – July 30, 2024 – August is for the dogs! For the second year in a row, See’s Candies, the renowned candy company, is partnering with the ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) to create a limited-edition packaging sleeve and plush toy available in shops and online throughout the month of August. In honor of “Dogust,” See’s is donating to the ASPCA to support their lifesaving work to animals across the nation that need help and homes. Dogust, which takes place on August 1, is a nationwide celebration for dogs whose birthdays are unknown. See’s is proud to partner with ASPCA to raise awareness and support through the limited-edition Dogust products available in shops and online.

Starting August 1, customers can purchase a 1-pound box of chocolates ($29.50) with the limited-edition sleeve and add on a Plush Squeaky Dog Toy inspired by See’s iconic white box for an additional $5 with their purchase. Customers who do not purchase a 1-pound box can still purchase the Plush Squeaky Dog Toy for $12. Not only will See’s have free samples for our human customers, but during Dogust, See’s will be giving samples of our exclusive “S” Medallion dog-friendly biscuits, while supplies last.
